A lot of the best PopCity staff moved to Next Pittsburgh, so that's a big reason why.

7/21/15 - Homewood Suites in the Strip - opening "Spring 2015". Following the "grey and metal" theme the Strip has going for it as of late.

8/6/15 - I'm not sure why I had assumed they were going to keep the new road behind the Terminal Building concrete, but they were paving it today.

Change of lobbying strategy for the Pittsburgh Film Office:

Summary: rather than try to get the tax credit uncapped, they are going to try to get it guaranteed for 5 years. They think this could attract more TV series, which are great for building local film capacity.

They were filming some movie tonight in front of my apartment here in Millvale. This year about 3 films have had parts shot in Millvale and a couple shows. Guess it provides a run down decrepit backdrop.

If the whole building was glass with the trees on the balconies, that'd be cool. The orange portion and the obvious garage are bad IMO. A parking structure at the base is one thing, but not even trying to hide it is another.
