Hope to see some more towers rising between Richmond and Dundas soon. That is a big gap there...

I don't think you will.

As I understand it there are some pretty stiff guidelines about casting shadows on City Hall/ Natham Phillips Square. It is smack in the middle between Richmond and Dundas. I think that's a good thing personally. There should be a good public square that is still open and airy and not surrounded by high buildings.

There are tons of places to build tall buildings and I'm glad Toronto has said that it's iconic City Hall is off bounds to be surrounded by shadow and sterile high rises.

Massey Tower, 207 meters is under construction. It will fill a good chuck of that empty block.

Proposed : http://forum.skyscraperpage.com/showthread.php?t=203976 - Yonge & Rich (160 meters) will also fill the gap if it moves into construction.

Lots of other towers are in the pipeline, but not really taller enough to raise the height all that much. Still the density between Richmond and College is going to get insane.
