In 1950, Philadelphia was the 3rd largest city in the US (over 2 million). In 1960, it dropped to 4th (surpassed by Los Angeles). And, in 1990, it fell to 5th place ( beaten by a consolidated Houston). Let's hope the surge in residents will propel the city back to it's former standing.
