I wasn't even aware you guys had such Notleygrad-style buildings. What neighborhood is this? ("Downtown's West End"?)

That building is actually not in the Downtown West End. It's actually in the Downtown Commercial Core (that is literally the name of the community).

It is on the very western edge of DT though. What is the divider? Is it 10th st? Either way it's one of the most heinous apartments in that area besides the affordable housing portion of Solaire. If they manage to replace that fugly wood with something decent it might be upgraded to invisible filler though.

It's a big wide block, but a little premature to judge a building before its key architectural finish is in place.

Of course, I'm admittedly a homer when it comes to this project, even if we inherited a design from the previous developer.

Sorry YNAT. I think this one could have used some white or something. The grey makes it very commie blocky.

I went into a business the other day and saw a guy in black socks with sandals on at work. He was also wearing jeans. I've seen this a few times and wonder if it is a Canadian phenomenon.

I don't think I've seen that type of "fashion" here in Montreal, and I'd like to keep it that way.
