Hotel idea:

Big, beautiful new Hilton on Commonwealth lands, lots of convention space, 400 hotel rooms on 30 floors, 20 floors of condos on top.

Augustana Tower

Rooftop patio and amenity
25 bike stalls, too low
Hoping to land a destination restaurant
No stucco
Blvd trees to remain or be replaced

Bad photo, but you get the idea.

You forgot to mention it's as bland as Ukrainian food. Does that mean it's respecting Edmonton's heritage?

It's better than it shows, first three floors very good, articulation as you go around, wish it tapered at the top for 3 floors.

Oddly enough, CTV used the Healy redevelopment clip of me for this development, call into CTV.

There were only maybe 5-6 residents, only opposition I heard was to it being rental...

From what Ian said, there was little opposition at the meeting. Only one lady expressing concern about it being rental ('transient')

A smaller project I saw started today. Sherbrooke Plaza looks to be getting a complete redo. Scaffolding was going up around it today.

Looks like new landlords are sprucing up the place. I don't think it has had a major upgrade since the fire.

One thing that I noticed while driving northbound on 102 Street just south of Jasper today is that the Stantec tower will have a major presence once it rises above City Centre Mall.
