Downtown Fort Worth's new Lancaster Masterplan, which includes several lots owned by the city after the land was left vacant after the moving of I-30 to the southside of downtown.

One Project is already underway (currently in site prep) and two more just recieved TIF dollars. Construction for the Hemphill-Lamar tunnel connector has also started, but still in site prep.

There is also consideration to tear down the southern most wall of the Watergardens and add a new entrance off Lancaster.

Here's the Masterplan from Catalyst Urban, the building lower right will be called the "Cadilac Apartments", being developed seperatly. The building top left is the first phase of the rest. These should both be done before 2018. The long grey building at the lower center of the image is "Pinnacle Bank Place", also being developed seperatly but it is the one in site prep, it contains GFR, a garage on the backside, and the building is split between office and apartments.

Most new buildings will be 3-6 floors in height, most all have ground floor retail and a variety of uses, hotels, apartments, and offices.

Thanks for posting these over here as well.

With all 5 towers being around 200', makes me think it could be a new corporate relo into 5- 17/18 story towers... GE?

No problem.

It appears to be Addison's attempt to lure a corporate HQ. It's nice to see something proposed that's not in Plano or Frisco.

New apartment tower coming on North Central Expressway near Knox Street

When we were in deep negotiations with the county for this site was when Dunhill Partners announced its big acquisition within the Design District, and now Virgin Hotels is coming in—not to mention the Trinity Groves area and the bridges and the new energy there. Even though we are in that data center business—let’s be honest; data centers house a lot of equipment and not many people—but we’re excited about building a cool, funky data center building that takes advantage of activity in the marketplace and what’s going on architecturally in the marketplace.

A site owned by Canadian developer, Great Gulf (who is also behind Ltd. Edition No. 2505), has renderings of the proposed residential building.

The location is represented by "GG Dallas".

Granite Properties buys landmark West End Building with plans for office and restaurant space

This may have been one of the single best visits to this thread I've experienced in a while. SO MUCH NEWS. Dallas is killin' it.

PS Can someone tell me what the building complex on the northeast corner of Oak Lawn Avenue and Stemmons Freeway? Opposite side of the freeway from the Scottish Rite Hospital? It appears on Google Earth that it recently was expanded with several structures of an extremely well-executed historical design, and I think that's interesting.

That's the Old Parkland Campus.

The buildings you see from Stemmons or the Tollway are various phases of the expansion.

Big changes coming at Dallas’ landmark Infomart building
