Posted by yellow Fever today.

I didn't expect such a sharp corner at Pacific & the Smithe St. Extension.
Doesn't look like any setback (either from the curb or at a podium level), although there would be space for the streetcar track.

That pic highlights how far One Pacific is set back from Expo Blvd.
and the amount of open space there will be at the Smithe Extension roundabout
and at the Expo Blvd / Cambie Bridge ramp corner.

I wonder if anyone has considered that roundabout to be a potential "event space"?
- it sits in a "bowl" a bit lower than Expo Blvd.

PS - the wavey ledges facing the bridge ramp should look pretty cool.

Happened to walk by. Not the ideal direction of the sun in these photos, but I'll still post them.

Lol Why? Because of traffic noise? . it's already beside Cambie bridge and pacific. If people there are sensitive to traffic noise, good luck to them

Thx for the pics

I wonder if One Pacific's parking lot will be connected with the casino's looking at this picture.

Even if is not, it looks like their parking lot extends under the street.

The casino's parking extends under the street.
I doubt One Pacific's parking would be connected, as they'll have separate parking entrances.

Pics by me today:

This view of BC Place will be gone:

This shows the setback from the bridge from below:

Took many of the same photos as above (but not as good).

Found a neat view looking between the two sites. I am standing at Smithe at Pacific

WE HAVE GLASS! And it doesn't look like the standard white spandrel but something darker and more transparent.

Below imagine that the tower will be approximately twice the current height when completed. Not bad.

Yeah, I got excited when I saw it. I had very low hopes for this building but it is starting to look like much better than I was hoping it would. I originally thought this would be not tall enough for the area, but it is starting to look like the scale will be perfect.

I hope Parque will also deliver.
