Also, are there still plans to put in better scrubbers into the Purina plant so that it doesn't smell as bad?

If Elitches goes, reserve some land next to the CML so you can someday use the CML for a true through station since Union Station can't. Next to Pepsi Center/Elitch Gardens light rail station.

Given what you said about Kroenke trying previously to buy that land I wouldn't be surprised if he is the Elitch buyer. If so, he may not be in any hurry to develop as he would seem to have a full plate with his LA venture if it indeed comes to fruition which it appears will happen.

I noticed the Purina building got some new paint the other day because the Purina logo was gone, painted over. Maybe they were doing all at the same time?

I thought that the scrubbers were installed when Purina did the facility expansion a few years ago. It certainly doesn't smell as much as it once did.

No problem!

I agree with you, the stadium alone in the L.A. project is 1/6 of his fortune. Can't imagine he has enough liquidity to build both simultaneously. And judging by his past projects, he doesn't seem to want to work with outside investors, he likes to keep the whole pie for himself.

Good job for the leaders in Denver and Adams County. It would have been idiotic to block development at DIA, the most desirable land for this type of a development. It was bad for the region. But that's what Denver agreed back when, so this is a good a solution - give the Adams County folks a piece of the action while also creating a knock on effect for adjacent areas in Adams County. Metro Denver's admirable history of local governments working together to find win win solutions continues.

I wonder how cooperative Denver would have been if not for the fact that Adams County had them by the short hairs. Understandably Denver's motivation and Adams County's leverage resulted in the original, unique agreement.

But I do agree it was good they reached a mutually beneficial agreement.

Denver is not the only significant city/airport that wants to stimulate nearby development. Atlanta also.
