That's how all sidewalks in the CBD should be constructed.

This caught my eye today from Georgia Street. Two distinctively different colours of glass on the side of the condo tower facing the office tower.

The west side of the condo tower still has the same light coloured spandrel panels, which do contrast a lot compared to the glass on the west side, too
(but that could be because the wrap around balconies make the west side glass look darker(?)).

Also wondering if the bluish hue on the north side of the condo is a reflection from the office tower glass (but it really looks blue).

The renders had shown that herringbone paving pattern on Georgia - I guess they cut back(?).
The water feature is still there though.

Maybe that dark glass on the centre units on the north side of the condo tower is a kind of privacy glass. Those units are the ones that might most need it as they face the offices directly across.

It looks really odd to have two such a distictively different colors. Why didn't they just use more reflecting glass, like they used on One Wall Centre? No privacy problem there.

Why don't they use more reflective glass? Because people will think they won't see out clearly? So developers don't use it? I think that's bs since these buildings are usually sold out before the glass goes up.

The water feature by the window glass is a great way to deter squatting like what's happening in front of the Bay. It will also deter vandalism. What's with the baby grand shown on the rendering? It almost makes it look like a hotel lobby.

It will make a great public restroom for the homeless and drunk, though.

Damn, there is no beating homeless and drunk in this game!

With regards to Hudson's Bay, they should try installing speakers in front of the doors to play classical music 24/7 or at least after closing. That should make solicitors to move away.
