I'd dearly love to know what Telus is doing on top of the old toll building. They've added some serious structual steel on top, and are proceeding to put a deck on top of that.

I'm beginning to think the residential tower is going to be like Woodwords for me: the longer I look at it the more I think the fussy ornate-ness of the thing works. At least from certain angles and a bit of distance.

I love the massing of it, I just so far am very disappointed by the materials choice. Henriquez is a solid architect though so I'm holding out hope the finished product will come together.

if only he would have used a different coloured spandrel it would have been much better. the bones are there it's just the finishing that sucks. green spandrel really makes it blah.

i feel sorry for the future window washers. looks like it'll be a nightmare to clean.

Yeah, if only they would have kept the original colors, this could be a masterpiece. I like everything but the colors. The shape is great and it will feel very tall in its location - it already feels massive from Richard Street!
