At least all the shots I'm posting are of skylines, with many cities represented. How is that something to complain about?

That's a good point. I find that the city does pretty well with embracing where we are. There are many more trees in the city than outside of it, but tree lined streets are pretty much just a North American standard. Our parks near the rivers have tons of trees naturally, our coulee parks are deserts naturally, and Nose Hill is a fairly untouched natural grassland (other than the trails).
It is too bad that Sunbelt cities don't really embrace their desert landscape in parks though, as I find the desert parks in Alberta cities to be the coolest around, such as Dinosaur Provincial Park in Drumheller, and the Oldman River Valley in Lethbridge.
