It'll be above 0C there a couple days next week. Get ready.

I sure hope so but weather forecasts have turned out to be wrong all Winter and it was always colder.
The last time it went up to zero here was December 26th.

In Timmins this year for February, the average high temperature was -15.2 while the average low was -30.8 making the overall average temperature -23.0 for the month. Probably the coldest February since records were kept.

5 of the next 6 days forecast to be in the double digits, and the next 14 days above 5 degrees. Not bad at all. Here's hoping for some early leaves and tulips this year

As nice as the relatively easy winter we've had here in Calgary this year, the little amount of snow we had over the winter will be an issue - hopefully, we get a lot of moisture in the next few months to make up for what we haven't got over the rest of the winter months.

The plus minus on days that don't reach 0C: 73 current, minimum of 1 day, maximum of three.

^ Not to mention that it didn't fall below freezing last night. In fact, after dropping to a low of 2°C yesterday evening at 8 pm, it shot up to 5°C at about midnight.

Another ok day in Vancouver. Seems like we will be at or just below seasonal today, similar to the rest of March so far. Although the overnight last night wasn't as far below seasonal as it had been. If it wasn't for the wind off the ocean I imagine it would be above average.

This is torture. Thus far March must be our coldest of the year. Let's check...

First, the warmest it got today was -10C. As a high. I don't think that's happened any other day this winter. Just checked to confirm and that is correct. No other day remained double digits below freezing. Oddly, we also had a UV index today of Moderate; strong enough that the snow was still melting.

Our average High/Low for the winter thus far:

January: 0.4C / -8.4C
February: -0.7C / -8.6C
March: 0.7C /-11.6C

And that doesn't include today, yet, because it's not over.

FFS. It's MARCH!

Pretty cool how in the graphic, it looks as if the Bow is splitting the city in half, climate-wise.
