I actually like it better from the West, giving a bit of a view of the curve. Love it or hate it it is one of the more interesting buildings in Canada. It makes people talk about architecture and aesthetics and scale and proportion and how buildings are sculptures that are looked at from all points. I love what it has done.
And its a big building in Calgary that isn't a twin.
Whoever mentioned the documentary Helicopter Canada gets a big thumbs up from me. Worth watching for lots of things like the kid totally pwning another kid pushing them off a pile of snow. More importantly the video of Tour de la Bourse under construction is awesome. I love that building too.
