If that were to happen, your head would spin with the additional delays and roadblocks that would be created. It simply wouldn't be tolerated, nor imo, should it be. We need better, bolder modern architecture instead of so much watered down, VE'd, or bland stuff that we get stuck with, but we don't need to wipe away vestiges of the past if they're either good or historic. Read our history, where entire blocks were leveled by Urban Renewal or the fabulous Fox Theatre was demolished for Fox Plaza; there are many other sad examples too. There is no reason that we can't have it all most of the time in this city.
