Much better angle for Calgary. Shows all the filler buildings so it doesn't look like a bunch of divas vying for attention.

kind of a a strange looking picture. It looks like the early 1900's mixed in with dt Calgary.

I'd say it's a fairly large downtown. Not too different from Vancouver, Edmonton, or even Montreal (in terms of immediate core). Definitely more substantial than any other city its size, though. Maybe we're talking about different things...

Calgary has a very large downtown for it's size. It's really evident when you fly into the city and see how much land the downtown takes up compared to the built footprint.

Yes ..For sure! For it's size, it tops the list of all North American cities IMO.

That last aerial is my favourite shot of Calgary to date btw. kudos.

Tired of craving it, yep. Montreal is content to have the top spot of course.

Yes, we all know that's your opinion... You said it many times. Let's not start this debate.

But best in North America? No hate on Calgary, but what about New York, Chicago, San Francisco, Seattle, Pittsburgh, Philadelphia? Did you ever travel down south, by curiosity? You seem to have rather limited knowledge of US cities/skylines...

I would suggest that calgary does now have one of the best skylines in NA. what sets it apart from many anerican counterparts is how contained and packed it is.

He did say "for it's size" in which case I agree with him.

SkahHigh, he lives in either Shanghai or Vancouver (not Calgary), take even a half second look at where he posts. One doesn't have to live in Calgary to appreciate the Calgary skyline.

Someone saying one nice thing about the skyline of a city that you have a bias against doesn't have to start an argument. Many people feel differently about many other people's opinions on here too. This guy is a new forumer and doesn't know any better.

I said one of the best, you seem to have missed that.
