Do you mean on the Georgia side?

Someone thought that the glass cladding on the protruding boxes could be backlit - maybe the ceiling could be too?
There does seem to be an excessive amount of non-vision glass on these towers.

Reminder of display board pics by Built Form showing project lighting.
The yellow areas are supposed to be backlit
- unless the plans have changed (and we know the onyx panels are gone)
I don't know who would buy a condo on the floor with the backlit panels, either (?)

A couple of major steel beams now installed at the floor that will be sandwiched between the bottom two 13 storey sections of the condo tower. I wonder if the beams are temporary? The next section of 13 floors will sit askew a bit towards Robson Street.

Cool.

It's probably temporary to support the formworks for the next section that will jut out farther to the south.
Maybe there'll be more added, as those I-beams seem to jut out to the east, not the south.

Could be that the beams are part of the heavy "frame" around the 13 storey "sections",
but there doesn't seem to be a similarly thick ledge at the bottom of the 13 storey section,
and they seem to be precariously perched on what looks like a balcony slab.

It's a great puzzle. I love watching it and trying to figure it all out. It looks like that middle 13 storey section will be offset also towards Richards Street as per these details of the renderings you posted.

The wraps are coming off some of the wood beams at the base of the office tower. I'm looking forward to seeing them all unwrapped.

When I saw the glass panels on the arches being installed the other night I thought they were dirty. But today I was able to see that they in fact have a foliage pattern on them.

Wonder how long it would take to replace one of those patterned glass panels should it sustain damage, ie. from a drunk throwing a bottle towards it.

I guess that puts the "garden" in Telus Garden.

A few of the ledges have been installed - they look like aircraft wings.

They should span past the balconies, so I guess they'll have to add some brackets to the concrete
(unless they think it could be a drunkard climbing hazard in front of the balconies).

I can't say this about the residential tower, but I gotta say.. I really like the office tower and plaza. That arch and the steel box thing add some definite uniqueness that Vancouver lacks. And it doesn't feel like a disjointed mess like Nordstorm's.

Does anyone know what they will be showing on the screen. Hopefully its not a continuous loop of telus commercials. Also is this screen gonna be on all the time. Apologies if this has all ready been covered.

I know! I could take picture now, but they have turned it off. They must be testing it still. It wasn't Super bright like the two on Granville. Maybe something they will still tweak...

New user here, but I've been lurking this thread for a while as this is gonna be our new home! Thank you to all of those that have been posting pictures of the progress, as it is helpful to know when it's going to be done.

It actually seems quite far along (the condo side), but they made us sign a couple of amendments that pushed the date from June 2015 to November, and now March 2016!

I'm sure you'll like the neighbourhood. It doesn't get more walkable than this location. I moved in nearby 14 years ago and wouldn't want to live anywhere else now.

Speaking of walkability, the new sidewalk along the Georgia side is within sight now.
