A sink hole developed in the parking spaces beside that Davie Street fir shop they protest in front of at Homer. The COV fixed it over a couple of weeks.
On the day the TBM exited into the Yaletown station, an engineer for the project said they had to reconfigure the TBM to pressurize the head before they continued because they had run into loose soil just north of the Yaletown station on the first pass.
I am not an expert, but my simple mind putting 2 & 2 together believes they found a narrow band, maybe 100 plus year old fill of loose material on the first pass starting the bend to Granville. Can't prove it of course.
