Yeah, whatever. No matter what anyone says about anything on here, it's a lie. There's some convoluted backdoor bullshit that's going on. TV simply stated some numbers, but they're wrong of course. It's a lie. You're being tricked. Everybody get their tinfoil hats and retreat to your basement.

I only asked because Mary Agnes Welch brought up the point in her article the other day, questioning the veracity of the numbers. And I wouldn't call her somebody who isn't extremely sympathetic to the cause.

And it's a reasonable enough question to ask given everything that's happened with it. Were the projections correct or not?

Many thanks. We were told initially of a July 2015 finish..(and now still only a 4 week delay from that) but I have my doubts so I've been trying to dig more into this development. Came across this forum on a random google search.

What's your stake in the project? Drew seems to know the most about this project given he was relaying details of the foundation last week.

I purchased one of the units. Were suppose to break ground in October.. Been told they are waiting on Water and Waste.. and now also Public Works (since I assume because of the new exterior). Not instilling the best confidence in the build.

As a condition of it's multi-family use it requires the approval of the building and parking area by the director of property & development. But it seems it's probably more tied up trying to get costs down.

Here's a relevant post: http://forum.skyscraperpage.com/showpost.php?p=6807550&postcount=4780

Either way, huge dollars. I imagine NFL is even more ridiculous.
Canadian teams get a bigger cut of the national Canadian deal, vice-versa in the US, lump sum not per game. Every team has a local TV deal for home and away games that aren't broadcast nationally. Teams don't share that at all.

Yea, I found the recommended approval from April. I'm taking the benefit of the doubt that with the exterior changes they have to do it again?
Definitely learning lots about the processes involved.

Sounds like someone's really in the shit now over the new police HQ and possibly the land swaps. Good. I still want the three amigos in prison, even if one of them isn't mayor.

This is good news. Won't change anything, but hopefully keep people honest.

What's going on with the new WAG building? They released a rendering of the interior a while back but still nothing of the exterior that I can recall seeing.

I'll start the pool with Swandel. So he's taken. I'll happily entertain other stabs at this...

Capital campaign is ongoing, somewhat in earnest.

Gonna be a tough one. This city has had just about as many capital campaigns as it's prepared to support over the past ten years, so there's a fatigue that's set it. They need about $40MM which means about $60MM so we'll see. But I've seen Steven Borys all over Twitter seeking out what appears to be exhibits up north, but I know the building design has come to a halt for now...

Yes, I'd like the wag to move into a completely new, cool looking building for the 21st century. Something classical in design, like the Vancouver museum art gallery.

I have in the past suggested 177 Lombard Ave.
