I ( admittedly ) don't know enough about Subaru's intentions or of a location
inside the city limits of Camden that would suit there 500 plus employees needs or desire to relocate to the 1st. , 2nd. , or 3rd. most dangerous city in the country . ( depending upon what list you read ).

Once again , if I had to guess , I believe Subaru will stay in Cherry Hill . There are already enough suitable
locations to accommodate their growing needs in that township . I have no idea how pressing an issue it is
for that company to " get everyone under one roof " . But , if size matters .... Mt. Laurel or stay put .

So barring any inside information , I think they will stay in that area .
I was chatting with a friend last night who is a real estate attorney for Campbell's. Lots more growth plans for that office park, and Cambell's is at the forefront of them.

An awesome article in the Inquirer today about the new Comcast building. The print version has illustrations showing the breakdown of the structure, worth checking out if you have the opportunity:

Ah thanks, Philly Fan! That's an ambitious plan but will definitely change the shape of that area.

Mmm. That triangle-looking thing on the far left up against the highway would be the new PATCO stop. I believe it's the thing on the upper right of the first picture after the info screen. I can't even fathom a PATCO stop that pretty.

I would guess they might have a campbell's shuttle bus from the nearest patco stop.

I thought I heard they have a shuttle from Broadway now, but I'm not sure. The plan is a new stop, though:

"It's a great first step," Landers noted, adding Campbell hopes to see greater access to mass transit at the site, including a stop on the nearby PATCO Hi-Speedline.

I envy the design and quality materials of this beautiful Mormon Temple you guys are getting in Downtown Philly. I wish we could have one here in Downtown Los Angeles. They just don't make religious or secular buildings like this too much anymore. I thought these windows were cool, in that you have the melding of a particular period of historical element from the outside, yet you also have the beautiful stained art glass to capture the light on the inside.

An awful reminder of that pitiful park we're getting smack dab on Market St next to a trolley stop. This goes back to Philly's leaders being small minded and not business friendly. Could you imagine this flying in New York? Oh wait, they had a disaster that resulted in three thousand plus dead and yet still managed to erect a building at the site. Meanwhile Philly is taking a prime piece of real estate off the market for what I would categorize as a minor tragedy.

More Jobs to Camden

Quote:
The New Jersey Economic Development Authority approved a $40 million tax incentive package for Cooper Health System Tuesday.
Cooper said the tax credits, which will be spread out over 10 years, will allow it to move about 350 administrative jobs now located in Cherry Hill and Mount Laurel, N.J. back to its main campus in economically-distressed Camden.

We could actually use a little park there.. Not many places to sit in the immediate area

Only caveat is it will increase the value of basciano's land

Eh, that lot is so small that it's not really taking up too much prime real estate. I'm more concerned about what the article has to say about our city council president. It sounds like Clark is trying to add another convoluted layer of bureaucracy to the system that, from the looks of it, will be a hindrance to future development without actually doing much good. Fixing L&I is important, but Clark is the last person I would trust to do it properly. This could have a much larger impact down the road than one small pocket park.

1835 Market Street sells for $100 million. JLL expects to close $1B in Philadelphia in 2015.
