375-unit Buckhead project set to start.

The Hanover Co , a Houston developer ,is building a 375-unit apartment project called Hanover Park Place on a site currently occupied by Parkside at Buckhead apartments along Buckhead Avenue and Pharr Road, next to Frankie Allen Park. Hanover expects to begin demolition of the existing 163 apartment units and start redeveloping the site by the end of January.

Ant (or anyone),

What are those townhouses with the blue awnings and the curvy brick sidewalk? I believe it is the 11th photo down.

Site work has begun for Aspire Waterworks (Northside at 17th).

The garage for the mysterious Heights at West Midtown (Bishop at 17th) has topped out. I didn't count the floors but it looked like five or six. I think it will be hidden by the building.

The gap between Atlantic Station and Westside is filling in fast

I hope not. Brooklyn has extreme economic disparity.

I hope not. Brooklyn has extreme economic disparity. But Atlanta tops the list:

I imagine by Brooklyn he meant specifically a Williamsburg or Greenpoint.

Another 20 Story Tower Proposed for Buckhead Village

Quote:
Developer Terwilliger Pappas is planning a residential tower in the Buckhead Village, the latest project proposed in the district.
Terwilliger Pappas is slated to present the tower to Buckhead planners Wednesday afternoon. The project, which could approach 20 stories, would take shape just south of Pharr road at 2965 and 2975 Peachtree, the current site of a gas station and restaurant. The company is led by Ron Terwilliger — known for growing Trammell Crow Residential into a multifamily giant during the 1980s — and Charlotte mixed-use developer Peter Pappas. Its project would help set the stage for the transformation of the Village into more of a walkable district overlooked by new residential towers and lined with street-level stores and restaurants.

Anyone know what the deal is with 811 Peachtree and their property line dispute with 805? I'd really love to see that project get started.

Any news on seventh midtown. I had expected the Starbucks to move into the new Viewpoint location this week, but it appears that there is no one working on the preparation of the new location at this time (although the Starbucks sign is outside). When I asked the barista yesterday when they were moving, she replied "never." So what exactly is going on?
