Nice to see the progress! I know it's taller than Telus building but it is the same height or taller thant the building on the right? Hopefully it's a couple of floors taller to help a little with this tabletop and ceiling skyline...

I would've loved to see this 10+ stories taller than its 2 neighbours to create something visually interesting but I could settle for 3-5 stories taller..

Its 22 floors, so it is not even half way to maxing out. From the picture it looks like that building is 13-14 floors, so it will be significantly taller.

Building on the right is called the Vanguard building. Thirty years ago it was the location of CSIS. Or at least that was where they interviewed me.

I have heard it mentioned here, and incorrectly posted on units from the MLS site. Allow me to correct the misunderstanding: The width of the studio units (windows) are not 17.5 feet wide as published. They are in fact 10 feet wide as later mentioned in the listing as 3.048 meters. Why the discrepancy I can't imagine but a professional would be able to easily catch this basic mistake. They are after all just over 400 sq feet which means a width of 17.5 ft leaves the depth of the unit to a mere 23 feet. It's untrue and needs correction.

The incorrect interpretation of 17.5ft likely comes from the floor plan that shows this value to be the length measurement for the kitchen living area, not the width. If anyone has any question about how to read floor plans the dimensions are secretly coded in the form of arrows

I really don't like how it's lot-line to lot-line again... Urgh, I hate those buildings crammed together.

The one side with the Telus building parking isn't that bad because the there is a space between both buildings above the parking entrance but the other side? Why wouldn't the city tell them too keep, let's say 10-15ft between the two buildings? The builder could ask the city for an additional 2 floors to make up for the loss of units or space (less horizontal but more vertical)?

I agree: I hate lot-line to lot-line buildings crammed together. The result is a wall of buildings that is downright unsightly.

The west end of Queen St is a prime example.

Unfortunately, adding height here is not an option due to NCC restrictions for the Parliamentary viewplanes.

Hopefully, the design will include something that sort of breaks up that wall effect?!?
