Very good observation.

IMO it should pretty much be mandatory for all the typical roof top junk to be covered up under an actual roof. Guess that wouldn't go over well in this city though as it would impinge on the views of the precious mountains.

Looks great!
(apart from my nit about the mullions and fins not being evenly spaced to the edge)

Maybe it's because the architects are from the US - Kohn Petersen Fox (KPF)?

Second restaurant by Hawksworth. This one will, hopefully, be more affordable.

The first one is quite affordable, Anyone that can afford to eat at the catcus club and order a few drinks can certainly enjoy a mean at the current Hawksworth.

I really like how the crown looks from street level.

Awesome photos Klazu. What a beautiful day.

Do you take these photos through your windows? Or can you open the windows?

Thanks, LockedIn. We have small operable vents that can be opened, but this photo was taken through window. Clear day made up a clear and sharp photo.

I find it ironic how often Vancouver developments throw around the term "world class", it reeks of insecurity.

However, I think this building is the definition of world class. This is a jewel in the city.

Some are. Particularly land mark buildings, in Alpha cities, makes sense to call yourself World Class.

Would even seem more reasonable in Toronto, but I don't recall the term being abused like it is here. Same for Calgary, and Edmonton.
