Buffalo was hammered today, much of Muskoka and cottage country also saw the same intense snow bands. Anybody here who has not been in a squall line has no idea what extreme heavy snow is like. Sometimes these bands can even be embedded in snowstorms making things twice as bad.

After a few weeks of nothing but blue skies and sunshine with -2C highs, we're gonna change to a week straight of flurries and +1C.

YIKES indeed. CITY TV just reported Buffalo could see upwards of 200cm by tomorrow when the squall line finally breaks down.

Slept with the window open. I am not a smart man.

Currently 5C, which isn't that bad considering the rest of the federation - but that cold air should arrive here just as everyone else warms up.

0c with some snow today. New record low this morning at -10.2c, smashing the old record low of -6.3c. Average low is still above freezing at 0.3c.

Calm and 4 to 7 degrees in Victoria this morning @ 7am under mostly cloudy skies. High of 10 forecast for today

Yesterday we managed a high of 9 with lows of -2 to +3 depending on region.

-6 and cloudy going up to 0 tomorrow and next week.

When I picked up my rental in McMurray yesterday the rental agent mentioned it was warm out -7c. all relative I guess.

the mountain resorts are now open but need a good dump of snow.

This 🞵🞵🞵🞵 better melt this weekend... last year winter was awful and even then we didn't really have a permanent snow cover until December.

It's 🞵🞵🞵🞵🞵🞵🞵 cold outside... but at least we didn't drop below -10C like Ottawa, Toronto and Windsor. Not that matters but still...

It has "warmed up" a bit. We went from just under freezing for our highs to just above. And going from dry and sunny to clouds with flurries.

Yeah, I check this thread daily to here how piss poor the weather is in other parts of the country so I can feel better about my particular jurisdiction as well.
