I appreciate you hadn't yet seen my post as you posted at he same time. TBH I'm certainly in a state of confusion myself. But this is what I've learned:
A)
Plansit made reference to a dual-branded hotel at the NWC of 15th and California streets or the lower right on my post of Block 138.
B) Downtown Denver Partnership lists White Lodging as the developer of a hotel on that site.
C) White Lodging is the current developer of the dual-branded Hyatt at 14th and Glenarm Streets which is who
blm3034L!fe was referencing.
D) I also had forgotten (or never knew) that White Lodging was the developer of the Embassy Suites.
Therefor be it resolved that we at least have a warm body here. Possibly, White Lodging has contracted for the rest of the site along California Street which would allow them to construct a nice podium above which they would construct a 1000 room hotel. I'm just speculating here of course. It's possible they are teaming up with a Big Time asset manager or who knows on the project? Whether it's actually 90 stories or not, is not a critical issue but the potential project is highly intriguing none-the-less. It would of course be cool if it were to be a Tall Boy. Maybe they'll do a dual-branded Marriott with a JW and AC? Or maybe it's mostly a big fish story and they'll build a 21 story, 310 room hotel as previously planned.
