Prairie cities to lead Canadian economic growth over next two years
Calgary will be one of the country’s economic growth leaders for the next two years.

CALGARY - Edmonton, Saskatoon, Calgary and Regina are positioned to be the fastest growing census metropolitan area economies in Canada this year and next, according to The Conference Board of Canada’s Metropolitan Outlook: Autumn 2014 released on Monday.
“While economic growth in Edmonton, Saskatoon, Calgary, and Regina will cool from the red-hot pace seen in recent years, growth will remain brisk by national standards,” said Alan Arcand, associate director for the Centre for Municipal Studies with the board, in a statement.
“Cities in central and eastern Canada will see their economic fortunes improve this year and next, in line with strengthening economic activity in the United States, Canada’s largest trading partner. That said, these cities will still generally see growth lag behind their Western Canadian counterparts.”
The report said Edmonton will have the fastest growing metropolitan economy in Canada with growth of 4.9 per cent in 2014 followed by Saskatoon at 4.2 per cent, Calgary at 4.0 per cent and Regina at 3.8 per cent.

Also I would imagine in the not so distant future that there will be lights at the north side of the overpass at TCH and Lewvan for a new ramp to allow NB to WB traffic entry. But that is pure speculation.
