This is why I find most skyline shots of downtown Montreal boring, because (nearly) all of them fail at showing the core's true width, diversity and bulk that we see here:

^ Exactly what Rico stated...Pics really do say a thousand words, yet can be deceiving at the same time..For example, you can take a pic of a seaside resort town with beach front condos and make it look almost like Manhattan..That is until you get an overhead of it..Inversely, you can take an overhead of Montreal showing it's true depth, yet there are some real unflattering angles of that city out there...Montreal's $$ shots are from overhead...From above you can tell that it's a 4+ million city. It has a great mix of mid rises, talls, etc...Just not really too many super talls, but who cares, it's all about having an eclectic mix IMO.
