Another older Regina shot, without Mosaic Tower (the city's new tallest) but still a great core shot. Taken from the historic Hotel Saskatchewan.

Oh shit wait, I hope I'm not boring Chad, since I'm kind of off topic here.
Please stay on topic. unless of course you are dissing Montreal, which would be on topic

Great shot Harls!

Like Montreal, Ottawa is tough to get good angles..Having a short stumpy skyline doesn't help either.

Attention (certain Calgarians),..You have been good for a long while with this, but be warned any mention of the Okotoks being included into your CMA, or being part of the "big four" will result in me re-posting the above debate on which mountain was visible from Gatineau for as long as this thread is alive. It's bookmarked.

The best views of Ottawa are always from vantage points in Quebec.

If you want to drive into downtown Ottawa with the best possible skyline view as you approach, the best bet is to come in from the northeast along the A-50 to the A-5.

Nope, you said ...

Anyway, I don't want to pollute this thread. Since I am curious as to whether you think Saint John is more or less coastal than Vancouver (you ignored that one) I started another thread for this exercise. It can either continue or die but at least we can get back to skylines here!

BTW, those Mtrl shots are great ...

^ Finally, a nice view of the skyline from the North side of Mount Royal. This picture is also missing the Jewish General Hospital, St. Mary's, Oratory + the Rockhill Apartments. They really form a nice skyline. A different kind of skyline.

A view that is almost never depicted, although often seen when flying into Dorval Airport.

As shreddog pointed out, let's be as fair as possible and literally stick to exactly what was said.

You can totally say "Ask that captain if his next destination is Edmonton."
