I've never really liked the Bow in Calgary. It's a beautiful building and Calgary deserves it but I've always found that it just didn't fit in Calgary's skyline. Too bulky. Had it been just a little skinnier and taller (or even the same height) I would have been drooling with jealousy. Nevertheless, that picture up there really shows what a great looking building it is. A work of art to be sure.

I agree. I feel like most people don't like it, at least from some angles. I've always liked it, but that picture really does put it over the top. It's position in the skyline is definitely a point of contention, that is why it looks like it doesn't fit. With Brookfield Place and Telus Sky coming up to the west of it in its vicinity soon, and a bunch of 100+ meter residential towers coming up to the east, it should look a lot more balanced in 4 years or so.
