Be aware that at least a few renderings in this article are outdated.

Coldrsx - keep in mind this comment is directed at anybody who reads it, not just you.

These below are much more up to date:

For Rogers Place - go back to near the top of the previous page to see the Stantec tower pic as posted by Coldrsx.

Royal Alberta Museum

- original image is quite big, so click on "show" to see it.

Kelly-Ramsey building - it is supposed to be 25 storeys tall, not 29 as it says in the article.

Likewise. I've never seen a rendering of that building before... very impressive.

Yeah, Kelly Ramsay is already rising inside its pit. Excavation is complete and the parking levels are underway. It will be a very nice building. I believe it's still supposed to be around 120 meters.

Between Lucien-L'Allier Street and Mackay Street. Machinery is on site to demolish the small building.

This would be a great addition to the waterfront skyline

I see that old house in the SE corner is still standing, does this project take up the whole block? Or will the derelict house and garage/warehouse/whatever remain?

Confirmed. Saw pelles mecaniques on site just last hour.

This is awesome news.

The house is a heritage building, built in the 1830's, it was also Louis-Hippolyte LaFontaine's house. Today it home to squatters and looks like this:

Today the house is the sole survivor of what was once an elegant street. YUL's 3rd phase will consist of building new rowhouses on the southern side and renovate the mansion, giving new life to Overdale street. A possible 4th, but unannounced phase will be located at the intersection of R-L and Lucien L'Allier.

The house (build in 1830) will remain and be restored.

Looks good! Hopefully this one has better luck than most of the other tall Kelowna proposals.

One mtlurb user asked today about the demolition of the building to make way for YUL Condos (2x 120m), and one of the construction workers mentionned there was a third building (supposedly a luxury hotel) being built at the corner of René-Lévesque Blvd and Lucien-L'Allier Street (NE corner of the lot). This has not been confirmed yet (no renders as of now) but it could be up to 30 stories. Let's hope for another highrise

As for YUL, site prep will get underway in October with excavation starting in November.

I'll see if I can get confirmation on this, I have an immediate family member involved with the project.

Will they be building these towers one at a time or both at once?

They're starting with the west tower (on the left).

Visited the YUL lot at lunch. They were removing the CBS sign.

There is definitely enough space for the two towers and a third highrise in the NE corner.
