Kingston may be in line for a new tallest too, depending on how plans for the redevelopment of the Downtown North Block go. Our existing tallest is a 17 story residential highrise built in 2008.
No, just barely. The western most portions of Quebec at slightly to the west of Toronto as far as I can tell. 79°46′W for Quebec's furthest west vs. 79°24′W for Toronto.
Southern Ontario is also south of northern California I beleive.

So, did I speak too soon? Is there confirmation on the height on this bad boy? Do we have a true tallest boom across the land on our hands? What does this cross-country sky piercing portend...continued upwards movement or a boom before a bust? It looks like a large floorplate largely because its got a floorplate of a much taller building without the additional height. If it were 250 meters instead of ~200, it would look much less out of place I would think.
