It looks to me like Montreal is starting to pull a Toronto and also move to the next level of skyline very quickly.

I bet you mean in number of construction going up, cause in height, Toronto is not a reachable target for Montréal.

Yes, numbers. However I didn't say it was about to catch Toronto, just that it was pulling a Toronto. Both cities are building so much they seem to both be moving up a class in the skyline department. Toronto is well into it, while Montreal is gearing up.

I'll slap the face of those who continue to say that Montréal is actually falling. They are just blind.

They at least got a point for turcot interchange I must say.

Lévis' new harbor station is under construction and like many other construction in Quebec these days, engineered wood is widely used. Since Quebec City's cruise port is often booked during the summer months, this new station will now be able to accomodate such large ships.

A real Manhattan Vibe starting to emerge in The Toronto Entertainment District.

From here.. Pinnacle on Adelaide Condos and Cinema Condos under construction in the background.

Peter Street Condos in the foreground.

Financial District way back in the distance.

There is supposedly a new big project by Broccoloni to be announced this fall, but I don't think it's related to L'Avenue.

The much anticipated announcement and "Phase 2" are probably the same thing. Because really, how could there be a phase 2 if there's no room anywhere in the neighbourhood for one?

There is a little room - which would be directly on top of their current sale's office stretching out to the tracks.

If they could strike a deal with the STM to build on top of the subway station, the lot would look very similar to the original

That's true, I forgot about that lot! Building over the Metro station shouldn't be much of a problem, they did it for Tour des Canadiens, hence the concrete layer beneath the tower.

Actually, building on top on the metro station and thus providing direct access to it would be a plus for them.

I think you might have something there franktko! Imagine an even taller L'Avenue on that lot, imagine that...
