I love the density in those Entertainment District shots! You can finally see that it has almost completed its course to become one with the rest of the downtown core. A few office towers on Spadina or west will cause the area to grow even further towards Bathurst, perhaps.

Following the installation of diagonal reinforcing in the original factory shell, steel for the upper floors of the Google building at Breithaupt Block got underway this week.

I was told yesterday that, in addition to over 200,000 sq ft in the Breithaupt Block, Google may be planning to retain its space in the nearby Tannery complex. I've heard rumours that they may expand to as many as 1,500 employees in Kitchener, which, if true, would be a tremendous boost to Downtown.

Quarry Park in southeast Calgary. This will be Calgary's 2nd largest office node, next to downtown, with something like 2 million square feet of office space, tons of retail, and thousands of residences. The first office building is already being moved into. This node is the site of the future headquarters of Imperial Oil.

This week marks a special milestone for us. Can you guess what it is?

Later in the day confirmed...

We've completed the slab pour for L41 this week, meaning that The Guardian is now the tallest residential tower in Calgary!
