Edmonton's new tallest tower to rival the Bow tower in Calgary.

Calgary from tonight. I probably could have benefited from using my tripod for this...

You really get a sense of the difference in size between Toronto and Montreal from the aerials on this page and past ones.

Wow! That's perfectly lined up to make it look like a sort of megacity.

^ Gorgeous TO shot. The buildings seem to go on forever! It's funny how we have two 200m+ towers (ICE I & II) hiding , another three 200m+ towers are currently u/c in that same area.

Those last few shots of Toronto have been ridiculous. Sometimes living here it's hard to gauge how big this place has become, to me will always be just another average sized Ontario city, just like it was when I was growing up and not the land scorching, height busting behemoth it has become.

I'm so old I remember when the Hamilton, Kitchener, Windsor and Toronto dots on the map were the same size, and Ottawa, Montreal, Buffalo, Detroit and Cleveland had the big dots. lol!

Wouldn't that make you like 112 years old?

KW, be nice. He just couldn't afford new maps.

The USSR was still on our maps/books when I was in school.

And we rode there on buses that mainland schools discarded. Railroad crossing stickers and all.

Where those American maps that only really cared about the capital and biggest city for Canada? Hasn't Toronto been bigger than Buffalo since like the 30s?

The maps when I was going to school might have been early 70's or late 60's.

I have an atlas of Canada from the 1950s. It is actually really interesting to see how much the country has changed in only ~60 years.
