Yeah. I've never seen the angle before. It looks like it's from the bluffs overlooking Riley Park in Hillhurst.

... actually, now that I have taken a better look, I think it's from the bluffs over West Hillhurst Park.

Great shot... almost reminds of an 'Edmonton' angle of Calgary.

Calgary other skyline. With two more high rises not shown in this shot, but on the way up, the East Beltline skyline will have a decent punch to it. You can see all the forest fire smoke in the background.

Gotta be from around 14st W, but not much further west.

Indeed! I seem to have a pretty decent view of some nearby construction. Brookfield Place will eventually become quite visible. I also have a good view of the rental tower going up next door, as well as Guardian. I suppose I'll eventually have to get off my ass and post some construction photos in the Calgary forum, but I need to get this place feeling like home first.

Yeah it's crazy smoky in Calgary too. Surprised Edmonton is so bad considering the greater distance from the Mountains.

I think we might be seeing different smoke. I imagine Calgary is getting smoke mainly from the Banff fires, where ours I think is more the Grand Prairie / Edson area fires.
