corporate headquarter? Sounds good to me as long as these are develop somewhere in the core of the city and not way out west near the warehouses.
I think overall the best place for this development would be around the city hall area along Redwood Road with the trax stop right there. The Jordan School district office that used to be a strip mall needs to be redevelop into taller buildings with plazas and more mix-use.

Jordan Landings has space for more Corporate buildings. Cyprus Credit Union and Mt America have buildings on the West side of Jordan Landing (and not credit union buildings. Four story office buildings). Jordan School Districts headquarters are mixed in there as well, plus a hotel. They have probable 5 large lots for corporate buildings left in that development.
I know back in 2007 or 2009 time frame there was talk of trying to get Airport 2 to move all it's facilities to Tooele County and develop the land for West Jordan. But no one was ever really serious ( I think). Then again the Pentagon is talking about cutting the funding for the Utah National guards helicopter division which is stationed at Airport 2 so you never know what the wind will blow.
7800 S also has quite a bit of land along it that farmers still own almost all of that is west of Redwood Road.
These West and south valley cities will develop anything and everything with no regard to weather it should work or not.
I would rather see some taller buildings going up on 5600 W and 3500 S in West Valley City. That corner has 2 very large buildings just sitting there. (Old Fresh Market and strip mall) Tear them up and build right up to the street with some height on them. That whole area is a shopping district now plus with future transit planned it could become a desirable place to work and then hop on transit for 10 minutes and be home. Just start with a 6 story office building, fill it, pre lease another one right next to it and build a 9 story building 5 or so years later. Over 20 years you could build a mini downtown and with Mt View fully built out it would be an easy access point.
Obviously my ideas are bigger then my pocket book.
