You guys are funny, this really isn't that huge of a delay in a project of this size.
Incidents such as this are more common than you think.
People seem to have short term memory loss quite often on this forum.
The gantry crane on the Port Mann collapsed only a couple year ago, dropping a segment into the river. That was much more major than this.
A crane truck operator died while constructing the North Arm bridge of the Canada Line.
And I believe someone also dies while constructing the Millennium Line.
And lets not forget BCs largest construction collapse, then entire Iron Worker's Memorial Bridge (hence the name).
It is a good thing that our boring machine isn't having the problems / delays of the one in Seattle, people here would be going nuts!
