Many communities in Nova Scotia had and have places where people live in appalling conditions; I knew places near my family home where people had dirt floors, and no running water. That it happened and is happening is appalling. I've read the book Africville by Don Clairmont from Dal, and took his course. It is not revisionist history, it just history, facts are facts, what happened to the community was appalling.
