It was rumored to make it there but I'm not sure it was. Was the WS MickeyJet in attendance?

Yes it was there. I couldn't get any picture though. There was also an Encore Q400.

I doubt it, probably landed on the existing and taxi'd there.

I did love the placement of the 787 on top of the tunnel, I didn't go to the event today but found myself in the NE so I drove through the tunnel for the first time today and saw it.

The DSCs should make that target have mouse ears. I flew on it back from PSP and it looks like any other plane on the inside.

Stealing this pic from Reddit, kinda gives a good idea of how far apart the centrelines are. We know it's 7,000 feet, but this helps visualize it. That airplane landing 17R is 210 feet long.

So in terms of spotting the aircraft next to you, it will be not quite 26L and 26R at IAH (5,000 ft) but better than 24R and 23 at YYZ (~11,000 feet). The thresholds are quite offset too though, so the other airplane will always be above or below.

A new Westjet Q400 (C-FOWE) was there, along with the Disney plane, an Air Canada Rouge A319, and a whole whack of historic/smaller planes. Really neat event!

There were many factors that favoured AC yesterday.
- AC aircraft were at the start of the roam course, while WS Mickey and mini (Q400) were at far end.
- AC sent part of the Senior Management Team to show off the 787 to media and select individuals (mostly CAA team).
- WS Senior Management was engaged in the new YYT-DUB flight. Also WS did not open up Mickeyjet to media, so interviews were very short from the outside together with a lot of background noise.
- AC had a lot of volunteers handing out swag for the event. 787 posters, stickers, photos with flight crew, photo ops with Olympians, etc. Mickeyjet was roped off. There were a few WS volunteers handing out mickey cookies, etc.

For me, I just enjoyed the day and did not bother to take a camera along. Whole family went out to see the airplanes, although the bouncy houses were the highlight for my 4 yr old.

It was a great event. I guess it figures that an airport knew how to handle the logistics of moving people around and making sure all their needs were looked after.

I loved seeing all the kids running around on the runway and getting up close and personal with all the aircraft. Planting that love of aviation seed nice and early.

I was there with my dad and oldest daughter, she was all about the Mickey Jet. Absolutely loved it.

I just wanted to hump the 787.

Nice to see Mr. CalgaryLankan on the runway too!

Oh and earlier that morning Mr. Bokimon chartered a helicopter to get air to ground shots of everything, can't wait to see those!

Does BA usually downgauge YUL-LHR to a 767 in winters?
Could this be the first season where BA will offer more seats to YYC compared to YUL as YYC will see 787 operating in the winter too and YUL gets a 767.

I see AC is doing some odd aircraft shuffles on a few routes, AC Rouge is being taken off YYZ-BGI (Barbados) A319 in December and its being up gauged to a daily mainline 77L? Certainly a short run for that aircraft and its long legs coming in at just over 5 hours...
