I must say I like the the fedora and colour much better than the hat and colour of what's on the Pearl. The design of the Pearl overall is much better.
We don't even know what the full look of these buildings are as these perspectives don't allow us to see every detail of them. A little early to start claiming that he's lowering his standards I think.
People need to calm the hysterics on here ffs, two pictures of the projects have been shown and they both look great (and are both tall at 36+ floors).

A beach that's away from the river doesn't make a whit of sense at all. At least put it on a riverside pier or something.
A pile of sand up the hill is all it is and taxpayers are payng for this poor idea. I supported it at the rivers edge not up a hill - it's NOT a beach if not on the water...the current plan is nothing more than a sandbox.

I thought the "urban beach" in toronto was ridiculous the first time I saw it... Then slowly I found my self stopping to sit there with my pup... It's another option that will bring people to the area...not everyone will "get it" (like I didn't at first) but it WILL draw foot traffic
Fort Edmonton Park’s future plans to better highlight the city’s past will cost more than $150 million, according to a report going to city councillors next week.
Councillors will review the proposal Monday, which calls for an Indigenous People’s Experience, an expanded Hotel Selkirk and Midway and significant upgrades to the park’s utilities, all to be completed before Canada’s 150th birthday in 2017.
