That was NOT me in the video. I am in Edmonton. More importantly, that is definitely not my genre of music.

Definitely coming down to Roam the Runway, though.

The traffic signals at Barlow Tr need some tweaking. The EB green phase was only a few seconds. Probably hadn't been modified to the new requirements.

This isn't a new thing. The lights at Peigan/52 St continue to cause catastrophic delays when they were horribly mistimed following a partial opening of SE Stoney Trail. I suspect that was a gross miscommunication between the province and the city, but since this is all city they should really get it done. Good video, nice to see the limit is 70 and not 60. Also somewhat surprised they didn't go with LED lighting in there.

Thanks. I saw the other video this morning and cringed. I don't use music for mine. LED lighting would have been cool, but meh.

Calgary Roads are still evaluating the use of LEDs. I'm not surprised they're not being used in the tunnel.

Not even for the coolness factor, but they're on 24/7... tons of money to be saved. The entire city of Lethbridge made the conversion and it's a no brainer as far as I'm concerned. I think they said it's a million bucks per year to run it... maybe chip into that a little bit.

I like the lights that make one side reversible in case poop hits the fan on the other side. Digital dual turn sign is cool.

I don't think anyone is arguing the benefits of LED lighting. Roads is just moving at a snails pace in making a decision.

I've been noticing that there seem to be more flights approaching the airport from the south in the past while - is that actually the case and if so, is it related to the new runway? Just kind of curious since I used to see a plane go by every once in a while but yesterday it was a steady flow of them (my condo faces east from downtown).

I know someone who moved into Harvest Hills. On Sundays he says the jet noise is horrible. Other days are usually fine. Will the new runway solve that issue, or will they still takeoff on the diagonal runway?

Plane try to take off and land into the wind. it just depends which way the wind is blowing that day.

Once the new runway opens, there will be less usage of the diagonal runway, but it will still be used, especially on chinook wind days.

Big Bird just landed 17R. Not as impressive as the -300 but still a welcome site to see.
