A large project board going up at the SE corner of 117st and 107 ave. beside central Pentecostal site, but not on the site.

Borden park pavilion is almost done. I thought the cladding was to be done in clear glass but what is on is silver reflective glass.

The new Valve building on East Jasper Ave is ready for cladding. Let’s hope it looks as good as the rendering.

And Cold your deep well building in St Albert looks pretty good now the dirt pile is gone.

It's the fanciest looking pumphouse Ive ever seen.

How deep was that hole, BTW? Biked past it numerous times; and the hoarding was always too high

DEEP... 22m in diameter by ~22m deep.

It was incredible going down there during construction.

The Central Pentecostal site? Yup. I am worried about the latest designs I hear are floating around too. I'd take that old Tessco design in a heartbeat.

I was down hole in the old one plus the others on that line. Someone had to make sure there was some ventilation.

Edmonton has some cool designs for condos these days. Some of the ones a couple years old are cool as well.

A city council committee gave the green light Monday to plans for an Alberta Avenue arts facility it rejected last year.

The ArtsCommon would be a two-storey structure at 9131 118th Ave. featuring a theatre, gallery, coffee shop and suites with work space for 10 artists.

The development on the site of the old Alberta Cycle shop would cost $6.7 million...

Committee members balk at cost of restoring former landmark

The Great Divide waterfall appears to have gushed off the High Level Bridge for the last time.

Councillors balked Monday at paying the $1.9-million to $2.6-million cost of restoring the former landmark, which hasn't operated since 2009.

"From my point of view, this is a want, not a need," Coun. Mike Nickel told council's community services committee.

"With all the financial pressures we have, I would support just shutting it down."...
