I can hardly wait for these mixed use neighbourhood building projects to spread out in the Horseshoe.

Interesting. They do good work. EAP is one of our best in Calgary IMO. Just don't get WhipperSnapper started about mullions.

It's kind of like Calgary's new Eau Claire redevelopment but on formerly brownfield land.

Edit: on second thought it might be more comparable to EV but not as big.

Kudos to Toronto. Tbh when I first saw the rendering I thought it was for Montreal. You guys seem to do these kinds of projects well (can't remember the name but that redevelopment of a former brewery or industrial site comes to mind).

Not to take away from the great things happening in Montreal, but Toronto does "these" kinda things a whole lot more (...and better, IMO). The development boom hasn't just been high-rise.

Usually, I wouldn't care about low rise, but this is a worthy project.

As well as being huge. It can extend the pedestrian vibe of the Entertianment District and King West a bit to the south onto Wellington and Front.

Burrard Gateway: Hot, hot, hot!

Pallfreyville: Not bad -- it really fits in with what's already on that block face. Really wish we could see more of this kind of development spread towards 14th Street NW.

Toronto's equivilant to the East Village is the West Donlands. Architecture aside, World on Yonge has a lot in common with Eau Claire.

DRUMMONDVILLE - Hôtel Unique - 10 fl

Construction should start in april for this huge project (by Drummondville's standards). It will be located next to the Drummondville exhibition center (see render here), which is already under construction.
