I would have been happy with the art-deco-inspired look of the second iteration. This version is intriguing, but I'm not entirely sure what to think of the new design yet, let alone its feasibility.

Procura owns the land, I want to know what the motivation is for this current stream of new concepts. Are they fishing around for partners/tenants, or is Fairmont already on board?

I can't see Fairmont being on board with this. If you look closely, there is no integration between the two properties. Look at that wall facing the Mac's patio and gardens...

I don't like it at all.

Fluted designs are very tricky to do right IMO. This one isn't.

Dear Ian the project will be located between 116 and 117 St on 105 Ave. The site is currently fenced so it's evident from the roadway.
Our website is not ready as of yet as our presentation centre is still being built, that will be located on the northside of Jasper Ave just east of 116 St. We should be open in February.

We are conducting sales from our office at 12615 Stony Plain Road. Would you like to sit down and we can review with you the layouts and pricing? We are 30% presold.

Ohhh Procura. Less renderings, more building please. We've seen enough renderings from Mayfair North, Cascadia, Azure, Century Park, Paramount Block, Fairmont site, etc.

I believe the presentation centre is going to be in the old Starbright Cleaners - the yellow building next to the botox clinics.

There is no need for a helipad on a hotel/residential tower... this just completely undermines the credibility of the render. On that note, is helicopter traffic even allowed in downtown Edmonton? (I know it's not in some big cities like NYC) Anyway, there is no way that will be the final design.

However, if this were to be built, the helipad sticking out is very ugly. They should find a way to "wrap" the building around it in order to conceal it as much as possible or move the helipad to the top of the tower. Might look better that way
