Keep 'em north of the viaduct, and make sure that if one was to wander down into Yaletown, there's a cop there to make sure they're sent back right where they belong...

The Remand as a shelter is a terrible idea. Not becuase of the building or what it reprents, but now we're talking large scale conglomeration in a neighborhood already struggling with homess related issues.

You want to create a hastings and main right at the new AGA ? This would be a good way to go about it...

A potential sale of South Campus is also looking like it's going to happen in 2014. I have heard from good sources that MacEwan has entertained a couple of serious offers. That will help with getting the proposed Arts building started.

Stakeholder Meeting - November 27, 2013

The project team held a stakeholder meeting on November 27 at Grant MacEwan University to get feedback on the final design plans from area stakeholders.

About the Project
105 Avenue is emerging as a key corridor in the revitalization of the north edge of Downtown. In 2014, the City will begin streetscape improvements to help make 105 Avenue more accessible, better designed and pedestrian-friendly.

The design will focus on 105 Avenue between 109 Street and 119 Street, with the construction limits to be confirmed based on the budget available and scope of work. Future streetscape improvements will be determined based on funding availability.

Where We Are Today
105 Avenue Streetscape is now in the design stage. Roadway construction is expected to begin in spring 2014 with completion dependent on the limits identified during design.
