Sure cities like Calgary, Edmonton and even Saskatoon realized a long time ago that good roadway system was needed but look at those cities all languishing economically.

Winnipeg on the other hand decided the 1950's were the best era and there was no need to move from it with roadways for the future.

I have no problem with the Ring Road and Perimeter, with a focus on goods transport. I don't like the idea of bulking up expressways for commuting purposes.

Although they are still seeking tenants for this proposal,it's nice to here there's an update on this project. I really would like to see it proceed.

It really would be wouldn't it as it's such a desolate little stretch that just screams, build here!

I was hoping someone from 5468796 architecture here would give us a heads up on any progress but it still seems that tenants are still part of the problem as mentioned in the update..

Part of the plan is a 500-seat performing space for the music faculty:



It'll be nice for the U of M to have something like that... unless I'm forgetting something, I don't think it has a proper music auditorium.
