I flew out of Calgary last week on BA to LHR (used my aadvantage miles). 763 and I counted about 56 people on the flight. My flight from YEG to YYC left about 45 mins before the YEG-LHR and I would guess there were 70 to 80 waiting for the LHR flight. The passengers were mostly middle-aged, or visible minorities. I don't recall seeing any rig workers

Flew out of Signature Flight Centre yesterday. 8 aircraft waiting to head out in the morning and more parked when I got back in the evening. Airco is now out of the hangar along with the RCMP and GOA aircraft. Word I got was AGov is not building their own hangar and will continue using the Signature building. The last few months flying out of this facility I have never seen it so busy.

Came across this video from Denver when Icelandair launched service to the city...

Oddly enough the airport authority and the mayor promote the new flight for its connections...

Hmmm, wonder if United or anyone else got upset? This discounts the comment that EIA should not have promoted Icelandairs new flight.

Had our first of hopefully a few more visits of the A380 today at CUN as AF operated CDG-CUN with the aircraft today... As a special flight in place of the routine 77W.

I'll post video shortly.

United did not get upset because they did not have any DEN - Europe services to get upset about.

The only European services from Denver are LH to FRA, BA to LHR, and FI to KEF. UA's international services from DEN are sun destinations plus daily NRT with the 788.

So I for one have never seen the spraying of .....water??? on an aircraft before like they're doing here. Why are they doing that?

Be at EIA March 5th to watch the arrival of FI and you will see it in person. It's tradition when a new airline enters a market. I remember them doing it to the small CRJ200 when Air Wisconsin DBA United entered YEG in the 2000's.
