Looking at the proposed pricetags for roundabouts at Preston and Main and Preston and 7th, I'd say you're looking at $300,000. According to the master plan for 33rd Street upgrades, looks like there will be a roundabout installed at that intersection. Take a look here (last page of drawings):

Thanks for posting the link. I am pleasantly surprised to see that the traffic circle could be a reality sooner than later!
The only concern I have about the plan is actually the intersection on 33rd and Warman. Since 33rd east bound has been reconfigured there is no need to have two lanes of traffic going straight through the intersection so the city has barricaded off the south most lane which is fine for now, but going forward I would like to see a meridian installed in between the left turning lane and the straight through turning lane. There is plenty of room and in theory this would allow a better sight-line for traffic trying to make a left turn from 33rd going towards downtown. I have seen numerous close calls there and I believe a meridian would help make it a little safer!
The old police station would make a good location for a grocery store! Although the 15 mil price tag could be a little much for most grocery store chains....
