Speaking of which, I wonder if any of that will go towards the proposed 3rd runway, or just maintenance fees?

Travellers flying from the Edmonton International Airport will have to dig deeper in their wallets to pay for maintenance or new construction.
The airport improvement fee is going up by $5 to $30 per departing passenger, applying to travel on or after July 1 for tickets sold on or after Feb. 1. Edmonton's fee was last raised on Jan. 1, 2012 to $25 from $20.
"As the fastest-growing major airport in Canada over the last 10 years, this increase will help fund the growth and maintenance capital plans that we need to reach our target of 10 million passengers per year by 2020," said Reg Milley, president and CEO of Edmonton Airports...
