Impact on direct communities on game nights, not finding parking so much.

LaForge talking about working with the city to sort out logistics and a partnership with Norquest and the Oilers Foundation to employ, train and develop opportunities for new Canadians, people upgrading or enhancing skills etc.

PCL will also be working to create an inner city job fair, as part of the arena submission, to employ and or train those needing a hand up rather than out.

CRL : everything will be assessed Jan 1, 2015 for CRL impact and 'lift'... Ie anything u/c now or that begins before Jan 1, 2015 will be of reduced lift as their assessment difference will be lower than if undeveloped.

Here's hoping we won't see any more major sticker shocks before that final price is nailed down, though I fear that's inevitable.

Not sure how these things work...will they have an alternative design in the drawer if the current design costs too much and nobody wants to pony up any more coin?

The biggest cost savings will be found in the design of the super structure itself. This is why they are doing preliminary work to determine the structural requirements now.
