interesting, cause I typically turned them off when Spec came on.... he was perfect for a short bit on Gregor's show, as soon as he got his own show I quickly disliked it.

Love the morning guys, they do an awesome job at combining sports, comedy, current events.

As far as the noon slot, I'm thinking they're going to bring someone big enough in to go head to head with Stauffer over on 630.

Spectors dry humor and wit is right up my alley. I loved him back in the old days when he and Stauffer were on 1260's afternoon show...— that was a long time ago now.

I see where u are coming from. I hated Spec when I use to read his articles from Sports Net. But who I couldn’t listen to even more is Stauffer with his pompous attitude. Gawd he constantly smacks his lips like he’s eating his mike. It drives me crazy!! I can hear his fatness through the mike lol.

So City of Edmonton space was gunning for Tower D? I wonder with Stanny eyeing that now, IF the City does proceed ahead, where they will look?

^were yes, still not sure they should pursue such an expensive tower and now with Stanny likely being in the mix...

Also, Development Permit for the arena was officially submitted last Friday.

The rumours I'm hearing around office tower land is that Stantec is indeed looking hard at tower D

Which is great.. a little unfortunate because I'd really have liked to see 102st Centre go first. If Tower D proceeds in the next 12 months, I'd wager that 102st falls even further back

^ I don't know about that.. there's a few out there that were looking that have taken their RFP's off the table, There's a lot of space that's going to be available in the next bit. Unless something drastic happens in the next 2-4 years, I think we're looking at KR + 1 for the forseeable future

^i'd agree from a pragmatist point of view, but am optimistic about 102st. Best location, strongest design, best connections, most prominent.

Let me check with my 'guy' over there and see what I can find out.

^ I agree it's the best location.. probably the best in the city.

I think they're a lot more risk adverse than WAM/ KG are with their project though. That's why I was hoping that Stantec would take 102st

^ meant WAM/ Katz Group

KR's still pushing ahead but I know that there is still some hand wringing going on there on the part of the major investors.

I'm not sure what Tower D looks like but I love 102 St. Centre and would love to see it go ahead soon.

Love the 102 Street building renders, but I would rather see Tower D (there has got to be a better name for it!) go up first.

GMP (which includes some contingency) means the final price is the final price'.

Pile testing done late summer/early fall cost 800k, but will realize around 2million in savings.
